For example, an online casino might write that slots games count 100% towards wagering requirements, while blackjack and other table games only count 10% towards meeting the requirements.
The reason for the discrepancy here is that online slots games usually have a higher house edge, so casinos know that, on average, players won't be earning as much money while trying to get the bonus. On the other hand, table games such as blackjack and baccarat have a lower house edge, which means players are more likely to make a long-term profit when their signup bonus is added into the equation.
So does all of this make signup bonuses not worth the effort? If you're a slots player, absolutely not because, on top of going for jackpots and other prizes, you'll be working towards a signup bonus too. And if you're going to be playing online slots in the first place, why not earn a signup bonus on the side!?
