Casino Blackjack Charts could hurt your Game

When a lot of people start out in blackjack, they don't really have a good feeling for strategy and how to improve their chances of winning. However, as beginning blackjack players start to pick up on some pointers, they realize just how much blackjack strategy can help their cause. And one of the easiest ways to pick up blackjack strategy is simply by carrying a card around the casino when you play.
A blackjack strategy card is very helpful because it shows you what moves to make based on the score total of your first two cards, and the dealer's upcard. This is extremely helpful because there are so many different moves you can make in blackjack, and the strategy card maps all of these moves out. With this being said, a lot of blackjack players like to buy strategy cards from the casino gift shop when they play live blackjack.
But what many people don't realize is that casino blackjack strategy charts are sometimes based on different rules than what the casino is allowing, or they're wrong altogether. You don't have to be a genius to figure out why casinos would want to mislead players when they're playing blackjack. And by issuing bogus strategy cards - or just ones that are based on different rule variations - the casino gains an even bigger edge over players.
So the smart decision is to figure out what rules the casino(s) you'll be playing at offers, and get the correct card that corresponds with this. For example, if you know that the casino will offer 3:2 blackjack payouts, the dealer can hit on a soft 17 and the surrender rule is in effect, you should find a blackjack strategy card that maps out the correct moves with these rules in place.
Only by using the correct blackjack strategy will you have any chance at lowering the house edge to a point where you've got a realistic shot at winning money. Of course, it never hurts to learn some of the basic strategy rules yourself just in case you are ever without a strategy card someday.
