How Much Baccarat Money to Bring

Whether you're new to online gambling or an experienced casino gamer, baccarat is a great game to play because the strategy isn't too involved, and you can just relax on the table. In fact, all you have to do is make banker bets over and over, which reduces the house edge to 1.06%. Assuming you can find single deck baccarat, those banker bets will drop the house edge down a little more to 1.01%. In any case, being able to make the same wager simplifies baccarat quite a bit.
But even with this being said, you still have to worry about bankroll management just as with any other casino game. And a big part of baccarat bankroll management is knowing how much money you should bring to the tables. After all, if you bring too much money to the tables, you'll be tempted to overspend, and put your bankroll in jeopardy. However, if bring too little money, you won't have enough cash to ride out bad variance.
Unfortunately, knowing how to find this happy medium isn't an exact science. But a good rule of thumb to keep in mind with baccarat bankroll management is to bring enough to cover 25-30 bets. Covering 25 bets is the minimum, while being able to cover 30 or more wagers is certainly ideal. In any case, if you have enough money to hit this target amount of bets, you have a great chance of making profits in a baccarat session, or at least extending your play time.
To illustrate how the aforementioned idea works, let's say that you make $10 baccarat bets, and you want to have 30 buy-ins. Well after a little simple math, you'd find that $300 would be needed to hit your goal.
To take all of this a step further and figure out how long your money will last, let's set up a little example. Assuming you played 5 hours of baccarat (approximately 100 hands per hour online), you're making $10 bets, and the house edge is 1.06%, you would be theoretically lose $53 over the course of the session (500 hands X $10 X 0.0106%). Even with bad variance, your $300 bankroll would stand an excellent chance of surviving this session; and with good variance, you'd be making lots of money!
