BACCARAT TIPS & STRATEGIES
Baccarat is an all-around easy game to learn and play. Luckily, this simplicity doesn’t drop off at all when it comes to baccarat strategy since even beginners can use optimal playing strategies. The biggest reason why it’s so easy to learn baccarat tips is because there are barely any betting options, and one of these options is superior to the others. Even still, there is baccarat strategy that will set your apart from the rest of the players, and here’s a look at that strategy.

Calculate how Long your Money will Last
A good way to determine what size of bets you can make in baccarat is to calculate how long your bankroll will last. To illustrate how this works, let’s say that you want to make $5 baccarat bets, you play 100 hands per hour, and you only make banker bets (1.06% house edge). After plugging in all of this information (5 X 100 X 0.016), you’ll see that you will lose $8 an hour on average to the house. If you had a $160 bankroll, this would give you around 20 hours of play before your bankroll runs out, which is quite a bit actually.
Make Lots of Banker Bets
To those who’ve played lots of baccarat, this piece of advice is pretty run-of-the-mill. But if you’re new to the game, consider the house edge on each bet: banker bets carry a 1.06% house edge, player bets carry a 1.24% house edge, and tie bets carry a 14.4% house advantage. After looking at this, you can totally toss out the tie bets! And in most cases, you want to avoid the player bet so you can stick with the optimal banker bets. Of course, it’s also fun to switch back and forth between player and banker bets when you get tired of doing the same thing every hand.
Tracking Hands doesn’t work
Some online baccarat players like to track player and banker hand wins so they can determine who will win next. The idea is that, assuming one hand goes on a big winning streak, the other hand is bound to go on a big streak soon. And while this might be a fun thing to try, this baccarat strategy isn’t going to win you any more bets. This being said, only track hands for fun; don’t base your whole playing strategy around it.
